One of the most impressive monuments of Roman architecture in the Provence
(France) is the aqueduct " Pont du Gard" nearly Remoulins, 23 km from
Nîmes.
The Pont Du Gard is 275 m long and 50 m high. Originally is the
aqueduct, which date before the Christian calendar, supposed to be 50 km long.
The aqueduct transported water from Uzès to Nîmes.
